i grew up surrounded by modernism; it shaped my earliest understanding of space . not as much as a style but a way of thinking . i believe there is a strong connection between spirituality + architecture . a past that is looking into the future

we have moved away from its coherence into a condition of instability, improvisation, fragmentation, and precariousness . as a Latin American artist, instability is not an abstract idea; it is a continuous lived condition . it has become part of my language

architecture as structure but also as living space, is always present in what i do . there is a quiet tension in my work _ an insistence that what we often overlook has weight + meaning _ distilling personal experience into a material language that is both ordered + unruly
