ABOUT
ANTWERP ART BOX
DRAWING THE LANDSCAPE
on clay, impermanence + awareness
in the stillness of a snow-covered field, a figure stands between heaven and earth, embodying presence through breath, body + landscape
like clay, both body and earth are fragile, everchanging + shaped by time . snow melts, wind moves and the ground breathes beneath our feet
to draw the landscape is to attune rather than control, to move with its rhythms and remain open to renewal . in this shared cycle of change, stillness becomes an act of connection, inviting awareness, transformation + a deeper relationship with the living world
an roovers [1985, tienen] works with time + clay her process-oriented, circular practice explores transformation, impermanence + connection
